Using our Site

You may use our site and services only as permitted by law. We may suspend or terminate your access if you don’t comply with our policies or if we are investigating alleged misconduct.

We may send you announcements and other important information in connection with your use of our site. You may opt out of some of these communications at any time.

Disclaimer
*The responsibility for decisions
The service being provided is to help and support you to make decisions about your belongings and your home. It is important that you make the decisions yourself and agree that no one can make them for you. You are, therefore responsible for obtaining any financial, legal or other professional advice that you may consider necessary to support any decision you make.
**Removal of items
As part of the services provided you may consent to the removal of items either to a local recycling centre or charity shop. I do not take responsibility for taking items to the recycling centre and will instead organise any items in an area convenient for you to take at your convenience. Each session includes the provision for one car boot load of items to be taken to a charity shop of my choosing.
***Insurance
Petite Truffle maintains public liability and professional indemnity insurance to the value of £1,000,000. This insurance is in effect from the time you sign these terms and conditions. Whilst I will take due care and attention when organising, in the unlikely event that an accident should occur you agree to cover any breakages through your home contents insurance.

Payment and cancellation
Deposit
Any bookings of 6 hours or more requires 20% deposit to be made at the time of booking.
Payment terms
Payments are to be made by bank transfer within 7 days of the date of invoice.
Cancellation policy
24 hours’ notice is required to cancel a booking free of charge. Cancellation within 24 hours of
a booked session will attract a 50% cancellation fee.
Access issues
Please insure that parking is available within close proximity of where I will be organising. I
reserve the right not to remove heavy or bulky items for donating to charity if I feel that it is
unsafe for me to do so.
Travel
I can attend onsite sessions up to 25 miles from Basingstoke, RG24 using Google Map direction
system. Travel costs are included in fees.


Hours of works
If a session is booked for 4 hours or more, I will take 30 minutes unpaid break every 2 hours.


Fees
For first time customers I offer a free 30 minute consultation (either visit or virtual within 15
miles travel, virtual only when more than 15 miles travel)


£25/hour up to 15 miles

£30/hour up to 25 miles
Minimum 3hr/Session

*Miles will be calculated from RG24 9RX using Google Map

Selling fees

I can sell items selected by you on auction listing websites such as eBay and Facebook. All items sold will be on a commission basis using the following scale


Sale price (exc postage and packaging)  / Commission

<£10 / 100%

£10 - £49.99 / 50%

£50+ / 30%


Discount
Any recommendation which leads to a new customer will result in a 10% both you and the new
customer for your next session. Also you can collect loyalty point every session (1point will be
given for 3-5 hr session and 2 points for 6hr session). You will receive 10% discounts on 10th
session.
